Rolli LLC (referred to below as our “Company”) is a privately-owned limited liability corporation.   • The company or organization you are associated with (only if your company or organization has signed up as an Organization within the Application)
  • The specific Application page(s) and features you access
  • The date(s) and time(s) you access the Application page(s) and features
  • The number of times your profile is viewed or is returned as part of a search results collection
  • The number of times a member views or clicks on your email address, phone number, or social media links

Optional Data you may wish to provide to maximize use of the Application

  • Your phone number
  • Your assistant’s name, email address, and phone number
  • Your current job title, current employer, education history, and work history
  • Keywords that describe your areas of expertise
  • Links to your online presence on third-party social media sites including Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and WhatsApp
  • A short description of your expertise
  • A full “bio” that describes your professional experience, expertise, and other details that you choose to provide about yourself
  • Your certifications and professional licenses
  • Professional groups and organizations of which you represent that you are a member
  • The types of media that you produce or that you are willing to appear in, and your typical availability to make appearances in said media

  • Any other information that you choose to share for the purposes of promoting yourself or your organization
  • Search terms and parameters that you use to initiate a search

2. How do we collect your data?

You directly provide most of the data we collect. We collect data and process data when you:

  • Use any of our Services (via your browser’s cookies)
  • Register for an account in our Application
  • Voluntarily complete information on your user profile in the Application

We may temporarily store your email address if a current user of our Application creates and sends you an invitation to use our Services. Please note that we verify all email addresses so that no one can sign up for an account using your email address without your explicit consent.

If your company or organization signs up as an Organization in the Application, the Organization will designate a trusted member of your company or organization to act as an Org Admin. Your Org Admin can view, contribute, and edit information about you on your behalf.

We do not use any internal or third-party “data enrichment services” to attempt to gain more information about you than what is provided to us during your ordinary use of the Services.

3. How will we use your data?

Our Company collects your data so that we can:

  • Provide you with our main service: connecting producers of content (e.g., television, radio, print, digital, and other media) with subject matter experts who are interested in appearing in said media
  • Manage your account
  • Help Org Admins manage your account (only if you signed up in the Application as part of an Organization)

When you pay for our Services in the Application, we use a third-party payment processor (namely “Stripe”, please see https://stripe.com/ for more information). Please note that we do not store your credit card information anywhere on our servers or in the Application; instead, your credit card payment information is handled by our PCI-compliant third-party payment processor. We send your data to, and also use the resulting information from, our third-party payment processor to prevent fraudulent charges.

We do not sell, share, or provide access to your data to any other parties or companies outside of the Application. Your data is not for sale.

4. How do we store your data?

We securely store your data using a database service provided by Heroku, a third-party cloud platform provider owned by SalesForce.com, Inc. Heroku’s products are certified under the EU-U.S. Privacy Shield framework set forth by the U.S. Department of Commerce and the European Union. Our Company will keep your data from such time you begin using our Services until:

  1. You request deletion of your account;
  2. We determine that your account has been “abandoned” as defined in our Terms of Service;
  3. We delete your account based on a violation of our Terms of Service or Code of Conduct.

We will delete your data by deleting your user profile and all of its associated data. Your data will be deleted completely from our database and servers, not “flagged” or “archived.”

Please note that your data may remain on our servers after data deletion as part of periodic database backups which have a maximum age of one calendar year (365 days).

5. Marketing

We will only contact you in relation to the use of our Services and as indicated in the Notification Preferences area of our Application that you control.

We will not send you marketing materials from third parties, nor will we make your data available for others to do so. If someone misuses the Application to market services to you, please contact us via our Customer Support center in the Application or via the information listed in the “How to Contact” section below. Using the Application to market services to our customers is a violation of our Terms of Service.

6. What are your data protection rights?

Rolli LLC would like to make sure you are fully aware of all of your data protection rights. Every user of our Services is entitled to the following:
The right to access – You have the right to request copies of your personal data. We may charge you a small fee for this service.
The right to rectification – You have the right to request that we correct any information you believe is inaccurate. You also have the right to request for us to complete the information you believe is incomplete.
The right to erasure – You have the right to request that we erase your personal data.
The right to restrict processing – You have the right to request that we restrict the processing of your personal data, under certain conditions.
The right to object to processing – You have the right to object to our processing of your personal data, under certain conditions.
